A. ジェイホッパーズとは日本のホステルグループのブランド名です。ジェイホッパーズのホステルは、Japan-Hoppingする人の為のものです。あなたもJ-hoppersです。
A. J-Hoppers is the brand name of a hostels group in Japan.

A. Currently, in Kyoto, Hiroshima (and Osaka in Dec2007).

Q. What is the capacity of a J-Hoppers hostel .
A.各ホステルはそれほど大きいものではありません。ベッド数30〜40ぐらいです。
スタッフと旅人、また旅人同士がフレンドリーな雰囲気になるのにはこれぐらいの規模が一番いいと思っています。
A. Each hostel is not very big. The capacity is between 30 beds and
40 beds. We believe this scale is the best to keep a friendly atmosphere between staff and guests, also between guests.

Q. ホステルにお風呂はありますか？
Q. Can I have a bath in the hostel?
A. 24時間利用可能のシャワーがあります。もし湯船で鼻歌を歌いたかったら、日本の銭湯に行ってみてください。受付で近くの銭湯をご紹介しますし、入り方もお教えします。
A. We have some shower rooms which is available for 24 hours. However, If you want to hum a tune in the tub, please try Japanese public bathhouse (=Sento). The reception will advise a good one nearby and how to take it.
Q. 石鹸とシャンプーは持参しないといけませんか？
Q. Should I bring Soap or shampoo?
A. ボディソープとシャンプーが各シャワールームにございます。
A. No, body soap and shampoo are in every shower room.
A. タオルはありますか？
Q. Do you provide towels?
A. 貸しタオルがございます。大で70円、小で30円です。
A. We have towels to rent. 70 yen for a big one and 30 yen for a small one.
Q. 個別のロッカーは備わっていますか？
Q. Do you have private lockers?
A. ドミトリーのほとんどでロッカーがございます。大きさは、幅35センチ、奥行き35センチ、高さ45センチです。 ノートパソコンを入れるスペースにはなりますが、バックパックを収納するほど大きくありません。
A. Most of our dormitory rooms have lockers. The size of each locker is W35cmxD35cmxH45cm, which has room for your laptop computer but not for your backpack
Q. ノートパソコンを持っていますが、無線のアクセスは利用できますか？
Q. I have a laptop computer with me. Do you have wireless internet access?
Q. はい、受付へきていただければセキュリティーコードをお教えします。
A. Yes, please come to the reception. We will tell you the security code for the access.
Q. ツインルームを予約しました。 畳（たたみ）に寝たことがないのですが、硬すぎやしないかと気になります。
Q. I booked a twin room. I haven't ever slept on tatami. I am afraid it is too hard for me.
A. ご心配いりません。畳の上に直接寝るわけではなく、各部屋に布団（ふとん）がございます。 布団の寝方を書いたインストラクションがあります。 いい夢をみてください。
A. Don't worry about it. You don't sleep on tatami directly but futon sets
are installed in every room. Also, there is an instruction how to sleep
with futon. Please have a nice dream.

Q. 私は、一人旅をしてる日本人ですが、宿泊できますか？
Q. I am a Japanese solo tourist. Can I stay there ?
A. もちろん！ どうぞお越しください。 外国人の方が日本人の方と友達になってくれることは、私達にとっても喜ばしいことなんです。 残念ながら今のところ日本人のお客さまは10%程です。 是非とも私達と一緒に文化交流をしましょう。
A. Why not? Please come and stay with us. Actually, it is one of the happiest things for us to see a foreign guest makes friends with a Japanese guest in our place. Unfortunately, Japanese guests are only about 10% of all J-Hoppers guests. Please stay with us and enjoy cross-cultural talk !
Q. グループでの宿泊はできますか？
Q. Do you accommodate a big group?
A. 10人以上のグループ予約は受けいれていません。 申し訳ございませんが、収容規模がそれほど大きくないということと、基本的には単独行動される旅人宿であるということをご理解ください。
A. We don't take a group reservation with more than 10 people. We are sorry but please understand that the capacity of each hostel is not big and our places are for independent tourists basically.

Q. 一年間は日本に住みたいと思ってます。 ジェイホッパーズに住めますか？
Q. I want to live in Japan for 1 year. Can I live in J-Hoppers?
A. ジェイホッパーズは短期滞在向けのホステルです。 一年間の滞在となると相当高くなってしまいます。 当社では中長期滞在向けの家具付マンションも管理してますので、一年以上の滞在にはこちらをご利用ください。

A. As J-Hoppers hostels are for a short stay, it would cost you quite much.
For long stays more than a month, we manage another type of accommodation.

Q. 門限がないとのことでうれしいのですが、夜のセキュリティーは大丈夫ですか？
Q. You say you have no curfew. I am happy with this. But is it safe at night?
A. 玄関口は22時にロックします。 宿泊者は暗証番号で入館できるようになっていますので、セキュリティについてはご心配頂かなくて大丈夫です。
A. The front door is locked at 22:00 and you can get in with the pin code of the door. So don't worry for the security.

Q. もしチェックインの時間よりも早く着いてしまったら、手荷物を預かってくれますか？
Q. Can I leave my luggage even if I arrive earlier than the check-in time.
A. はい、荷物を保管する場所でお預かりします。
A. Yes, you can store your luggage in the luggage room.
Q. チェックアウト後に街に出たいのですが、日中荷物を預かって頂けますか？
Q. I want to walk in the city after I check out. Can I leave my luggage during the day?
A. はい、戻ってこられるなら、それまでお預かりします。
A. Yes, you can. If you come back, we can even keep your luggage even for more than one day.
Q. クレジットカードを使ってお金をひきだせますか？
Q. Can I get some cash from you using my credit card?
A. ジェイホッパーズは金融機関ではないので、それは無理です。
A. No. We are not a financial agent.
Q. 観光ツアーを企画されてますか？
Q. Do you organize sightseeing tours?
A. 今のところは企画してませんが、将来的には日帰りのサイクリングツアーをしたいと思っています。
Q. No at the moment. However we may have daily bike tours in the future.
Q. 相撲チケットをフロントで買えますか？
Q. Can I buy a sumo ticket at the front desk?
A. 旅行会社ではないので、買えません。 電車や航空チケットも販売しておりません。
チケットを入手するため、予約するためのお手伝いは喜んでさせて頂きます。
A. No. You cannot buy a air/train ticket either. We are not a travel agency.
We are willing to help you get tickets / make reservations, thought.
Q. 送迎サービスはやっていますか？
Q. Do you have pick-up service?
A. いいえ、送迎はやっておりません。 ジェイホッパーズは駅から徒歩圏にございます。
A. No. All of J-Hoppers Hostel are within a walking distance from the nearest train station.

Q. 朝食は宿泊料金に含んでいますか？
Q. Is breakfast included in the rate?
Q. 食事は提供しておりません。 共同キッチンとダイニングルームをご利用ください。 食器類、調味料、台所用品を各種備えております。
A. We don't serve any meal. Every J-Hoppers hostel has a self-catering kitchen and a dining room with tableware, cooking utensils and some seasonings instead.
Q. 支払いはどうすればいいですか？
Q. How can I make a payment?
A. 到着時に現金（日本円）かクレジットカード（VISA または MASTER）で滞在分の総額をお支払いください。
A. You can pay the total amount on arrival by JP Yen cash or credit card(VISA or MASTER).
We don't accept travelers checks nor foreign currencies.
Q. 国際ユースホステルのメンバーなんですが、クレジットカードで割引されますか？
Q. I have a International Youth Hostel Membership card. Can I get a little discount with the card?
A. 当ホステルはユースホステル協会に属してませんので、割引サービスはございません。
A. Unfortunately not because we don't belong to YH association but are independent
hostels.
Q. 税金とサービス料は宿泊料金に含まれていますか？
Q. Are tax and service charge included in the rate?
A. はい、含まれています。
A. Yes, included.
ゲストルーム
A. ドミトリーで自分のベッドはどのように割り当てられますか？
Q. How do I know my bed in the dorm room?
A. どうぞ、空いているベッドを選んでください。 特定のベッドを指定していません。
A. Please choose any one of vacant beds. We don't specify your bed in the dorm.
Q. ２段ベッドの下段で寝たいのですが・・・？
Q. I want to sleep in one of the bottom beds of your bunk beds?
A. ドミトリー内の空きベッドを予約することはできますが、特定のベッドをご指定頂くことはできません。
A. We can reserve one of the available beds in a dorm room but we cannot reserve a particular bed.
Q. 彼女と一つのベッドを共用したいのですが、その場合は一人分の料金でいいのですか？
Q. I want to share one bed with my girlfriend. May we pay for one person?
A. どれだけお２人が愛し合っていても、ご宿泊はそれぞれ別々に寝ていただくことになります。 もしご一緒を希望されるなら、個室をご予約ください。
A. No you have to sleep separately in each bed no matter how much you love her. If you want to sleep together, please reserve a private room.
Q. ルームメートのイビキがうるさくて、寝れません。
Q. One of the roommates is snoring very loudly and I cannot sleep.
A. ドミトリーに泊まる限りはありがちですね。 我慢できないほどであれば、フロントにきてください。 耳栓とイビキ止め（150円）を販売しております。
A. Oh it could happen as long as you stay in a dorm room. If it is unbearable, please come to the reception. We sell earplugs and snore-stoppers (150yen).
Q. ルームメートが夜遅くまで騒がしくしてて、寝れません。
Q. Some of the roommates are chatting loudly late at night and I cannot sleep.
A. 静かにするよう直接注意して頂くか、共用スペースにいくように促してください。 もし耳を貸さないようだったら、受付まできてください。
A. Please tell them to stop chatting or to do in the common area. If they have no ear, please come to the reception and tell us about it.
Q. 部屋が寒くて、冷蔵庫にいるみたいです。
Q. The room is too cold. I feel as if I was in the fridge.
A. 誰かがエアコンの温度を下げたんだと思います。 ドミトリーには温度設定に関するインストラクションがあります。 それに従って温度を設定し直してください。
A. Someone must have lowered the temperature of the air-con. There is the written instruction about the temperature setting in the dorm room. Please set the temperature following the instruction.
Q. 自分の寝袋をを使いたいのですが・・・
Q. I want to use my sleeping bag.
A. 恐縮ですが、当ホステルのベッド（布団）とシーツをご利用ください。 あなたの寝袋が汚いという意味ではないです。。。
A. We are sorry but please use our own bedding (futon) and bed sheets. We don't mean your sleeping bag is dirty, though.

京都のゲストハウス
２００２年に京都でオープン。JR京都駅まで８分。近くには東寺や伏見稲荷など主要な観光スポットがたくさんあります。このゲストハウスは元ブティックを改装したビルです。ドミトリーの他個室もあり、自炊用キッチン、国際国流できるリビングルームがございます。
広島のゲストハウス
２００６年に広島にオープン。元旅館を改装し、ほとんどが畳のある日本風の部屋です。居心地のよいリビングや自炊用キッチンも完備。平和記念公園と原爆ドームの近くにあります。日本三景である宮島にも市電でいけます。
大阪のゲストハウス
２００７年に大阪にオープン予定。大阪駅まで約１０分と好立地。大阪のみならず奈良、神戸、和歌山、そして兵庫の姫路城など関西の各地観光スポットへのアクセスへは最適です。
